MINUTES # 49-04



The Columbus, Georgia, Board of Tax Assessors met Wednesday, December 22,

2004, at 2:00PM with Chairman Lawton Grantham, Assessors Ann Grantham, William

Braxton and Pat Hunter present. Also present was Chief Appraiser Martin J.

Land. Assessor Richard Stallings was absent.



Assessor William Braxton made a motion to approve Minutes # 48-04, Assessor Pat

Hunter seconded the motion, motion carried unanimously.



The Board approved assessment corrections for real estate.



The Board examined the envelope for account # B1737091 and determined that the

appeal was not timely, since it was mailed after the appeal deadline date.



Mr. Williams representing Twenty Fourth Street Baptist Church, Inc. had an

appointment, but did not appear (Parcel ID 015 041 007).



Met with Residential Division Chief Bob O?Brien, reviewed and approved the

following:

Met with Commercial Division Chief Linda King, reviewed and approved the

Met with Personal Property Division Chief Oliver Juhan, reviewed and approved
