A RESOLUTION

NO.





WHEREAS, Columbus Housing Initiative (CHI) recently came to the aid of

residents of Mockingbird Mobile Home Park who were about to lose water service;



WHEREAS, CHI managed to strike a deal with the Columbus Water Works to keep

water flowing to more than 30 occupied mobile homes in the park;



WHEREAS, CHI is also assisting park residents with relocation to other

facilities;



WHEREAS, the intervention of CHI in this matter is worthy of special

recognition by this Council.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We hereby commend Columbus Housing Initiative for their intervention into the

water problems at Mockingbird Mobile Home Park and for their work in helping

park residents relocate. Let a copy of this resolution be forwarded to CHI

Executive Director Cathy Williams.

1st day of March, 2005, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of

ten members of said Council.
