I. REDEMPTION - COLUMBUS BUILDING AUTHORITY BONDS 2001:



Authorization is requested for the prepayment of all basic rent,

together with other fees and charges pursuant to the lease contract by and

between the Columbus Building Authority (CBA) and the City of Columbus dated as

of February 1, 2001 related to the issuance of $10,195,000 of CBA Lease Revenue

Bonds, Series 2001 bonds from excess proceeds from SPLOST funds; to direct the

CBA to redeem all oustanding Series 2001 bonds on February 1, 2004. An

agenda report and resolution are attached.



II. VARIANCE TO SUBDIVISION DESIGN REQUIREMENTS - REESE ROAD SUBDIVISION:



Authorization is requested of a variance to the subdivision regulations to

allow the use of an "Eyebrow Cul-de-sac" to be used where the center line

deflection angle is more than five (5) degrees, instead of a circular curve for

Reese Road Subdivision. An agenda report, map and resolution are attached.





III. PURCHASES:

C. Trees for Planting on the City's Right of Ways









NOTE: THERE WILL BE A PRE-COUNCIL BRIEFING TUESDAY,

DIRECTLY AFTER THE PRAYER BREAKFAST IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBER CONFERENCE ROOM TO

DISCUSS VARIOUS ISSUES.

Provide one (1) Misonix FR-6000 forensic evidence drying cabinet (or

equivalent) to Columbus Police Department. The department will use the

equipment to protect personnel from bio-hazardous evidence collected from crime

scenes.

The Columbus Consolidated Government (the City) desires to select a qualified

Department.
