A RESOLUTION

No.



WHEREAS, the French soccer team, Iris Club de Lambersart, arrives in Georgia

today to participate in a major soccer tournament in Atlanta, Georgia;



WHEREAS, the French team will train here in Columbus with the Columbus Red

Stars and many local families will be hosting this international delegation;



WHEREAS, Columbus is proud to welcome this delegation of French athletes and

glad that they have chosen Columbus as their home base for this event;



WHEREAS, this Council desires to formally recognize our visitors through this

Resolution and provide a memento suitable for framing in France.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We hereby commend and congratulate the following Iris Club de Lambersart soccer

players and officials upon their visit to Columbus and Atlanta, Georgia:

Anthony Sercy, Thomas Vandaele, Emmanuel Ferreira, Ludovic Cornard, Nicolas

Fortuna, Loic Jego, Desire Kingombe, Remy Wattier, Gaetan Peyres, Simon

Lemaire, Alexandre Dafosse, Aurelien Gadenne, Loic Delaibe, Thibault Jouan,

Brice Fresko, Kevin Tournemine, Sebastien Marescaux, Andriambato Rakotosalama,

Ludovic Menzato, Club President Georges Tournaux, Vice-President Marc

Vanovershelde, Manager Pierre Delabie, Coach Eric Lemaire, Coach Karim Aini,

Doctor Jean-Pierre Chaignaud, Trainer Eric Allar, and Journalist Herve Weuge.

We welcome these international athletes to Columbus, Georgia and we wish them

every success in the future. Let a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the

above-named participants.
