A RESOLUTION



No.



WHEREAS, the Columbus Council adopted Resolution No. 473-84 on November 13,

1984 establishing a list of rural dirt roadways which may be maintained by the

Columbus, Georgia, Public Services Department and further provided that no

other roadways may be added to the work schedule without specific approval of

the Council;



WHEREAS, Cartledge Road, Chantileer Trail and Chaucer Drive are all located

within Canterbury Forest Subdivision south of Macon Road and were all developed

at the time of the subdivision development in 1974;



WHEREAS, Cartledge Road was placed on the list of unimproved roads in

Resolution No. 473-84, but Chantileer Trail and Chaucer Drive were

inadvertently omitted.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



Resolution No. 473-84 is hereby amended by adding Chantileer Trail and Chaucer

Drive to the list of undedicated, unimproved roads in Muscogee County that may

be maintained by the Columbus, Georgia Public Services Department.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on

the 14th day of January, 2003, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative

vote of ______ members of said Council.
