AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FY04 BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF

$610,000 FROM $5,934,318 TO $6, 544,318.



WHEREAS, the City of Columbus has negotiated with the Department of

Housing and Urban Affairs to clear a finding on the parking garage built at 900

Broadway that was deemed an ineligible activity;



WHEREAS, the City agrees to reimburse the CDBG program in the amount of

$610,000 from non federal sources;



WHEREAS, 1999 SPLOST funds will be used for the reimbursement of an

eligible activity that meets the requirements for SPLOST and CDBG.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



SECTION 1.



1. The CDBG Fund will be increased by $610,000 from 1999 SPLOST funds for

infrastructure projects.



2. FY04 CDBG Fund will be amended by $610,000 from $5,934,318 to $6,44,318.



SECTION 2.



All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are

hereby repealed.

held on the day of June, 2004; introduced a second time at a regular

meeting held on the day of June, 2004 and adopted at said meeting by

the affirmative vote of members of said Council.
