I. SUPPORT FOR THE BRIGHTON AT THE PARK APARTMENTS:
Approval is requested of a resolution supporting the development of 128 units
on the property located on Warm Springs Road for Brighton at The Park
Apartments. An agenda report, map and resolution are attached.
II. DECLARE SURPLUS & TRANSFER PROPERTY - STREET SEGMENT AND
RIGHT-OF-WAY OF BAY AVENUE:
Authorization is requested to declare surplus and Quit Claim the street segment
and right-of-way of Bay Avenue from the north right-of-way line of Dillingham
Street north to south of the right-of-way line of Tenth Street to Foundations
Properties, Inc. An agenda report and resolution are attached.
III. DECLARE SURPLUS, ACCEPT & TRANSFER PROPERTY - BAY AVENUE:
Approval is requested to accept 2.424 acres of property +/- from the Columbus
Building Authority, 0.266 acres +/- from Georgia Power and declare 3.475
acres +/- of property (which includes the 2.424 +/- acres from the Columbus
Building Authority and 0.266 acres from Georgia Power) as surplus and transfer
said property to Foundation Properties, Inc., for the development of the uptown
campus for Columbus State University campus. An agenda report, map and
resolution are attached.
IV. SURPLUS PROPERTY - SHIRLEY WINSTON PARK:
Approval is requested to declare three acres of property at 5001 Steam Mill
Road in Shirley Winston Park as surplus and sell said property to Mr. Julius
Rogers. An agenda report, map and resolution are attached.
V. DECLARE SURPLUS & TRANSFER OF PROPERTY - SOUTH LUMPKIN ROAD MOTOR PARK -
NATIONAL INFANTRY MUSEUM:
Authorization is requested to declare surplus 90.64 +/- acres of property
located at South Lumpkin Road Motor Park and transfer said property to the
National Infantry Foundation for construction of the National Infantry Museum.

VI. LAND SWAP - DOUBLETREE DETENTION POND:
Authorization is requested to declare the detention pond located at
Fountain Court off Williams Road as surplus and transfer said property to the
original owners, Flat Rock Development, LLC in exchange for the detention pond
at Doubletree Subdivision at the end of Fountain Court detention pond. An
agenda report and resolution are attached.
VII. LANDSWAP - MUSCOGEE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT - NORTHSIDE:
Authorization is requested to swap 4.35 +/- acres of city owned property
located off Williams Road adjacent to the Northside property with the Muscogee
County School District for 4.38 acres tract identified as the Williams Road
Site near the Northside property to re-align the boundary lines. An agenda
report and resolution are attached.
VIII. OFFICE OF SCHOOL READINESS GRANT - SUMMER LUNCH PROGRAM:
Authorization is requested to accept funds from the Office of School Readiness
for administration of summer lunch program and snacks for fiscal and school
year 2004-2005. An agenda report and resolution are attached.
IX. UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE GRANT - BULLETPROOF VEST:
Authorization is requested to apply for and if approved, accept grant funds in
the amount of $50,280 from the United States Department of Justice for the
purchase of body armor for Public Safety agencies. An agenda report and
resolution are attached.

Scope of Bid
Provide Columbus Consolidated Government, Parks and Recreation
Department with Turface MVP and Turface Quick Dry. The product is used to get
the ball field ready for play after it has rained. The term of contract shall
be for one year, with the option to renew for two (2) additional twelve-month
periods. Contract renewal will be contingent upon the mutual agreement of the
City and the Contractor.
2. Protective Fire Clothing (Annual Contract) ? Bid No. 04-0066
Scope of Bid
Provide firefighting with body protection against extreme temperature, sharp
objects, steam water penetration, hot particles, and other hazards encountered
during structural fire fighting. The contract term shall be for three years,
with the option to renew for two (2) additional twelve-month periods. Contract
will automatically be renewed on the anniversary date of the contract, unless
either party gives a 30-day written notice of cancellation.

Scope of Quote
Provide and install two (2) brick, LED marquee signs at Metra Transit
System. One marquee sign will be installed at the Main Office and one marquee
sign will be installed at the Transfer Center.
4. Memory, IBM Certified ? PQ No. 04-00017
Scope of PQ
Provide eight (8) 2gb IBM #33L5040 modules or four (4) 4gb IBM-certified Simple
Memory STM5037A/4GBW kits to the Information Technology Department. The City
will not consider clone memory.

Scope of Bid
The Columbus Consolidated Government (the city) desires to select a
qualified vendor to provide one (1) Heavy Duty Stump Grinder. The stump
grinder will be used by the Forestry Division of the Public Services Department
for grinding stumps from City rights-of-ways and other City properties.
2. Micro Focus Software ? Bid No. 04-0069
Scope of Bid
Provide Micro Focus software, Windows platform only, to the Information
Technology Department. The software consists of one (1) Micro Focus NetExpress
v3.1 development software and five (5) Micro Focus Application Server
deployment software. The software is required to accommodate the newly
purchased AMS ADVANTAGE? HRM system. Therefore, the City will only consider
Micro Focus software.

Provide Columbus Consolidated Government with various fastener supplies
and restocking services on an ?as needed basis?. The quantities specified are

The Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia (the City) Parks and
Recreation Division is seeking vendors to provide swim equipment such as
whistles, water bottles, umbrellas, rescue tubes, pocket masks, chaise lounge
chairs, deck lounge chairs, American standard locks, vacuum hoses, water
testing equipment and pool chemicals. Pool chemical will be awarded to local
vendors only.
