The Columbus, Georgia, Board of Tax Assessors met Wednesday, October 15, 2003,

at 2:00PM with Chairman Lawton Grantham, Assessors Richard Stallings, Ann

Grantham, William Braxton and Pat Hunter present. Also present was Chief

Appraiser Martin J. Land.



Assessor Richard Stallings made a motion to approve Minutes #40-03, Assessor

Pat Hunter second the motion, motion carried unanimously.



The Board approved assessment corrections for real estate.



The Board reviewed a letter from Arthur Moore requesting a refund for the years

1996 through 2002, because the tax records showed more acreage than the current

plat revealed. The Board took no action since the recent sale amount of the

property is much greater than the tax appraisal.



Met with Commercial Division Chief Linda King, reviewed and approved the
