An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government
of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changing certain boundaries of a district
located at 8111 and 8201 Midland Road, from A-1 (Agricultural) Districts to
R-1 (Low Density Residential) District.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the
Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby
amended by changing the following described property from A-1 (Agricultural)
District to R-1 (Low Density Residential) District:
All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in Columbus, Muscogee County,
Georgia, and being Part of Land Lots 5 and 6 in the 18th Land District, and
being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at an iron pin at the northwest corner of Land Lot 6, 18th District,
and run thence north 86 degrees 00 minutes 30 seconds east a distance of
2507.60 feet to an iron pin; thence run south 04 degrees 01 minute 30 seconds
east a distance of 404.03 feet to an iron pin; thence run north 85 degrees 58
minutes 30 seconds east a distance of 509.12 feet to an iron pin on the west
margin of a 60 foot access easement; thence run in a southerly direction along
the west margin of said 60 foot access easement along a radius to the left of
442.12 feet an arc distance of 60.66 feet to an iron pin at the point of
beginning; thence run in a southerly direction along the west margin of said 60
foot access easement along a radius to the left of 442.12 feet an arc distance
of 72.02 feet to an iron pin; thence run south 09 degrees 08 minutes 20 seconds
east along the west margin of said 60 foot access easement a distance of 329.36
feet to an iron pin; thence run south 85 degrees 58 minutes 30 seconds west a
distance of 1060 feet to an iron pin; thence run north 04 degrees 01 minutes 30
seconds west a distance of 400.00 feet to an iron pin; thence run north 85
degrees 58 minutes 30 seconds east a distance of 1030.01 feet to an iron pin at
the point of beginning. Containing 9.572 acres.

Commencing at an iron pin at the northwest corner of Land Lot 6, 18th District,
and run thence north 86 degrees 00 minutes 30 seconds east a distance of
2507.60 feet to an iron pin at the point of beginning; thence run north 86
degrees 00 minutes 30 seconds east a distance of 422.95 feet to an iron pin on
the southwesterly right of way line of Midland Road; thence run in a
southeasterly direction along the southwesterly right of way line of Midland
Road along a radius to the left of 1467.22 feet an arc distance of 269.02 feet
to an iron pin on the westerly margin of a 60 foot access easement; thence run
south 30 degrees 51 minutes 40 seconds west a distance of 80.30 feet to an iron
pin; thence run in a southwesterly direction along the westerly margin of a 60
foot access easement along a radius to the left of 442.12 feet an arc distance
of 175.98 feet to an iron pin; thence run south 85 degrees 58 minutes 30
seconds west a distance of 509.12 feet to an iron pin; thence run north 04
degrees 01 minute 30 seconds west a distance of 404.03 feet to an iron pin at
the point of beginning. Containing 5.00 acres..
