WHEREAS, Columbus Recorder?s Court Judge Michael P. Cielinski has been selected

for the position of President-elect of the Municipal Court Judges Council for

the State of Georgia;



WHEREAS, Judge Cielinski was chosen from a group of almost 400 municipal court

judges serving throughout the state;



WHEREAS, Judge Cielinski will assume the office of President in June, 2006 and

will represent the interests of Columbus and other recorder?s courts on this

important Judges Council;



WHEREAS, the Municipal Court Judges Council is involved in legislation

affecting recorder?s courts and municipal courts throughout Georgia;



WHEREAS, Judge Cielinski?s selection as President-elect for the Municipal Court

Judges Council is worthy of special recognition by this Council.





NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We hereby commend and congratulate Columbus Recorder?s Court Judge Michael P.

Cielinski upon his selection as President-elect of the Municipal Court Judges

Council for the State of Georgia. Let a copy of this resolution be forwarded

to Judge Michael P. Cielinski.
