WHEREAS, Columnists and reporters Tim Chitwood and Richard Hyatt of the

Columbus Ledger-Enquirer have recently been named to Who's Who in Georgia Media

by Georgia Trend Magazine;



WHEREAS, they have both captivated readers in Columbus and the surrounding area

with their witty columns and sometimes heart-wrenching feature stories;



WHEREAS, both of these writers have entertained, informed and educated

thousands of Columbus area readers through the years;



WHEREAS, their inclusion by Georgia Trend Magazine in this list of influential

Georgia media personalities is worthy of special recognition by this Council.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We hereby commend and congratulate columnists and reporters Tim Chitwood and

Richard Hyatt of the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer upon being named to Who's Who in

Georgia Media by Georgia Trend Magazine. Let a copy of this Resolution be

forwarded to Tim Chitwood and Richard Hyatt.
