A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A QUIT CLAIM DEED TO ROSE HILL

MEMORIAL BAPTIST CHURCH, INC., FOR A 100? BY 15? +/- FOOT AND THE 15.8? BY 7 ??

+/- FOOT ALLEY AT THE REAR OF 1301 22ND STREET PORTION OF ALLEY.



WHEREAS, there is a 100? by 15? +/- foot and the 15.8? by 7 ?? foot alley at

the rear of 1301 22nd Street and the adjacent property owners request

abandonment.



WHEREAS, the City has no present or future use of said portions of the alley,

and;



WHEREAS, the Engineering, Public Services and other interested Departments have

reviewed the abandonment of the alley and approves same.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY

RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:



That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute said Quit Claim

Deed to said alley portions to Rose Hill Memorial Baptist Church, Inc., which

are hereby abandoned. A copy of said Quit Claim Deed is also hereto attached

and by reference made a part of this Resolution.



Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia, held the

_________day of _____________, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative

vote of _____________members of said Council.
