City Manager Agenda & Luncheon

Each year the City meets with the local State Legislative Delegation to discuss

issues and to develop a Legislative Agenda that requires action by the General

Assembly for the upcoming Legislative session. In order to accomplish this,

each organization meets with its membership to formulate issues that they want

addressed and then all three (City, Chamber and School Board) meet with the

Legislative Delegation to present their agenda.



In past years, the three bodies met prior to meeting with the State

Legislative Delegation. We did not do this last year and will not this year.

If you feel we should, please let me know. If I do not hear from you, I will

assume that you concur.



The annual luncheon meeting with the Legislative Delegation is

scheduled for Tuesday, November 12, 2002 at 12:00 noon at the Columbus

Convention and Trade Center, Room 6. Please call Isaiah Hugley in my office at

(706) 653-4029 to confirm your attendance at this meeting.
