The current terms of office of Mr. Brown Nicholson and Mr. Mark Renner who

serves as the Historic Columbus and Uptown Columbus Association?s

representatives on the Uptown Fa?ade Board will expire on October 31, 2003. Mr.

Renner is eligible to succeed himself for another term of office.



This will be the end of Mr. Nicholson?s second full term of office on the

board; therefore, he is not eligible to serve again.



The President of Historic Columbus and Uptown Columbus will be notified of

these upcoming vacancies.

Inspection and Code Enforcement Division, and the Columbus Housing Authority

TERMS OF OFFICE: Initially, one member shall serve five years from date of

appointment; the term of two members shall be for three years; the term of two

members shall be two years; and the term for two members shall be one year.

After initial terms expire, successors shall be appointed for three-year terms.

Charge/Mission

The purpose of this board is to provide and protect continuity in design and

preserve the architectural integrity of the properties within the C-1 zoning

districts as indicated by the Zoning Atlas of Columbus. It has nine appointed

members. One member shall be a representative of the Historic Columbus

Foundation, two members shall be representatives of Uptown Columbus, Inc., and

six shall be representatives of the Uptown business Association.

Representatives of the Planning Division, Inspection and Code Enforcement

Division and the Columbus Housing Authority also serve as nonvoting members.
