A RESOLUTION



NO.



WHEREAS, Marshall Middle School was recently involved in the Habitat for

Humanity Orientation Day held on March 7, 2004;



WHEREAS, several Marshall students, teachers, principals and friends came out

to greet Habitat workers, carried supplies, and made a banner for the

occasion;



WHEREAS, they also learned more about the Habitat program and the importance of

eradicating substandard housing in our community;



WHEREAS, this participation by Marshall Middle School in the Habitat for

Humanity program is worthy of special recognition by this Council.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We hereby commend the following Marshall Middle School students, friends,

teachers, and principals for their participation in the Habitat for Humanity

Orientation Day held on March 7, 2004: Tymeshia Tate, Aaron Neal, LaDoine

Gosha, Kwame Johnson, Ceandra Robinson, Laketa Lewis, Shakenia Grant, Lori

Campbell, Corey Porter, Demetris Watkins, Mbonya Myers, Jachin Myers, Sha'Terra

Tate, Chauntevia Bell, Dre'Mar Bell, Shanniqua Alexander, Vanessa Greenlee,

Marcus Long, Miranda Powell, Mr. David Register, Mrs. Leslie Baker, Mr. Ivens

Andressen, Mrs. Margaret Fulcher, and Mrs. Bonya Myers, Asst. Principal Dr.

Lenton Pruitt, and Principal Dr. Carlos A. Skeete, Sr. Let a copy of this

Resolution be forwarded to the above-named participants.
