A RESOLUTION

No.



WHEREAS, three Muscogee County students have been selected for State

Superintendent of Schools Kathy Cox's 2004 Student Advisory Council;



WHEREAS, Konrad Kalpen and Grace Nagel of Columbus High School and Carson Hand

of Northside High School were selected as local members of the 51-member

Council;



WHEREAS, these students will serve as the voice of students throughout the

State of Georgia on important education issues;



WHEREAS, this honor is worthy of special recognition by this Council.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We hereby commend and congratulate Konrad Kalpen and Grace Nagel of Columbus

High School and Carson Hand of Northside High School upon their selection for

the State Superintendent of Schools 2004 Student Advisory Council. We know they

will serve faithfully and as good ambassadors from Columbus. Let a copy of

this resolution be forwarded to Konrad Kalpen, Grace Nagel and Carson Hand.
