SUBJECT: KEEP COLUMBUS BEAUTIFUL COMMISSION







At the June 18, 2002 Council Meeting the Council confirmed Mr. Joel Ames to

succeed himself for another term of office on the Keep Columbus Beautiful

Commission. We received a fax from the Executive Director of the Keep Columbus

Beautiful Commission on Tuesday, June 25, 2002 advising that Mr. Ames is unable

to serve again and therefore is recommending that Mr. Elliot Waddell be

considered for appointment to succeed Mr. Ames.



Enclosed is the biographical sketch of Mr. Waddell for the Council?s

consideration.



The Commission would also like for the Council to consider Mr. Bernard

Corcoran, Jr. as a successor for Ms. Cindy Alexander. We have also enclosed

Mr. Corcoran?s biographical sketch for the Council?s consideration.
