WHEREAS, the employees listed below have completed all of the requirements of

the Management Development Program, have now graduated and have been awarded

the ?Certificate of Local Government Management? awarded by the University of

Georgia?s Carl Vinson Institute of Government;



WHEREAS, this is the second graduating cohort for the Columbus Consolidated

Government in a program developed for supervisors and managers in

municipalities and county governments, delivered by professionals experienced

in working with local governments;



WHEREAS, the training and development in interpersonal skills, group leadership

skills and project management skills emphasizes practical application in the

workplace that produces important results for guiding successful management

behavior in our workplace;



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
