An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at 5014 11th Avenue from GC (General Commercial) District to SFR4

(Single Family Residential 4) District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Department be, and

the same is hereby amended by changing the following described property from GC

(General Commercial) District to SFR4 (Single Family Residential 4) District:



All that tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in Columbus, Muscogee

County, Georgia, and being known and designated as Lot 5 in Block ?I? of a

subdivision of land known as BEALLWOOD HEIGHTS, as said lot is shown upon a map

or plat of said Subdivision recorded in Deed Book WW, Folio 296, in the Office

of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia, and being more

particularly described as follows:



Beginning at an iron stake located on the east side of 11th Avenue, 200 feet

south of the southeast corner of 11th Avenue and 51st Street; thence running

South 86 degrees 00 minutes East along the dividing line between Lots 4 and 5,

said subdivision, a distance of 140 feet to an iron stake located on an alley;

thence running South 2 degrees 50 minutes West a distance of 50 feet to an iron

stake; thence running North 86 degrees 00 minutes West a distance of 140 feet

along the dividing line between Lots 5 and 6, said block and subdivision, to an

iron stake located on the east side of 11th Avenue; thence running North 2

degrees 50 minutes East along the east side of 11th Avenue a distance of 50

feet to the point of beginning.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on the

6th day of December, 2005; introduced a second time at a regular meeting of

said Council held on the day of ________ , 2005 and adopted at

said meeting by the affirmative vote of members of said Council.
