An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at 3715 2nd Avenue, from A-O (Apartment-Office) District to C-3

(General Commercial) District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the

Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby

amended by changing the following described property from A-O

(Apartment-Office) District to C-3 (General Commercial) District:



BEGINNING at a point on the west side of 2nd Avenue, which point is 52 feet

south of the southwest corner of the intersection of Second Avenue and 38th

Street (formerly 32nd Street); thence running westerly 72.1 feet along the

north wall of the building located on the property hereby conveyed a distance

of 7y2.1 feet to the easternmost point of a narrow alleyway; thence running

northerly along the east line of said alleyway 5.02 feet; running thence along

the south line of the building of P. I. Richardson and M. J. Dunnaway a

distance of 62.9 feet to an iron stake located on the eastern line of an alley;

running thence northerly a distance of 47.23 feet to an iron stake on the south

side of 38th Street; running thence westerly along the south side of 38th

Street a distance of 11.2 feet to the east line of the property now or formerly

of Bibb Manufacturing Company; running thence south along the east line of the

property of Bibb Manufacturing Company a distance of 149.3 feet, more or less,

to the north line of the property now or formerly Skinner?s Furniture Store of

Columbus, Inc.; running thence easterly along the north line of the property of

Skinner?s Furniture Store of Columbus, Inc. a distance of 148.5 feet to the

west side of Second Avenue; running thence northerly along the west side of

Second Avenue 97.3 feet to the point of beginning.
