WHEREAS, Mr. Charlie S. White, former employee with the Columbus METRA Transit

System, died on November 2, 2001;

WHEREAS, Mr. White retired on March 31, 1994 after serving over 27 years with

the METRA Transit System.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:

We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Charlie S. White our sincere condolences

and deepest sympathy. Mr. White was an outstanding employee of the Columbus

METRA Transit System and he will be missed by all who knew him.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on the

19th day of February, 2002, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote
