SUBJECT: Easement Brighton Park Apartments



INITIATED BY: City Manager's Office







Recommendation: Approval is requested to execute a deed to Brighton Park

Apartments for a 20 ft. sanitary sewer easement through City property to

connect Brighton Park Apartments to the sanitary sewer line currently serving

Midland Chase Subdivision (see attached letters and maps).



Background: The 20 ft. easement will total approximately 0.54 +/- acres

of City land behind Midland Chase Subdivision with this easement being used

solely for a sanitary sewer. Columbus Water Works has approved the plans for

the 20 ft. sanitary sewer easement (see attached letter).



Analysis: A 20 ft. sanitary sewer easement will be placed on City property to

connect Brighton Park Apartments to the sanitary sewer line behind the City

land currently serving Midland Chase Subdivision.



Financial Considerations: N/A



Legal Considerations: Council must approve the granting of an easement of City

property to Brighton Park Apartments.



Recommendations/ Actions: Approve the attached Resolution to Brighton Park

Apartments for an easement on City property.
