An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at 2106 Cherokee Avenue; and 1919, 1921, and 2107 Garrard Street, from

C-2 (Neighborhood Shopping) and R-1A (Low Density Residential) Districts to

R-3A (Medium Density Residential) District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the

Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby

amended by changing the following described property from C-2 (Neighborhood

Shopping) and R-1A (Low Density Residential) Districts to R-3A (Medium Density

Residential) District:



All that tract or parcel of land lying in and being part of Land Lot 74, Coweta

Reserve, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia and being more particularly

described as follows:



BEGIN at an iron stake marking the intersection of the northerly line of

Garrard Street and the easterly line of Cherokee Avenue; thence North 05

degrees 50 minutes 00 seconds East, along the easterly line of Cherokee Avenue,

230.80 feet to an iron stake; thence leaving Cherokee Avenue, South 84 degrees

08 minutes 25 seconds East, 199.88 feet to an iron stake; thence North 05

degrees 47 minutes 53 seconds East, 144.93 feet to an iron stake; thence South

63 degrees 44 minutes 43 seconds East, 121.24 feet to an iron stake; thence

North 89 degrees 38 minutes 26 seconds East, 33.62 feet to an iron stake,
