The terms of office of Mr. Brian Hercules, Mr. Jim Martin, Mr. Arthur

Thomason, Mr. Julius Arrington and Mr. Robert Wetzel will expire on March 1,

2004. All five incumbents are eligible to succeed themselves for another term

of office.



These members are nominated by the Council from their respective

Council Districts. Mr. Hercules represents Council District One, Mr. Martin

represents Council District Eight, Mr. Thomason represents Council District

Four, Mr. Arrington represents Council District Three and Mr. Wetzel represents

Council District Two.



There are currently three women serving on this board.



Enclosed is a copy of our data sheet, as well as a list of the current

members.

Charge/Mission

This board was established to supervise and oversee the operations of the

Columbus Civic Center. It has eleven (11) members, ten (10) to be appointed by

the Columbus Council and one (1) to be appointed by the Mayor. Five (5) of the

initial members shall serve an initial term of two years and shall then be

eligible to serve two consecutive 3-year terms. Six (6) of the initial members

shall be eligible to serve for two consecutive 3-year terms. Other than those

members serving an initial 2-year term, members shall not serve more than two

consecutive 3-year terms.
