WHEREAS, Mr. Henry A. Harris, former employee with the Columbus Fire

Department, died on August 2, 2005;

WHEREAS, Mr. Harris retired on October 31, 1998 after serving more than 23

years with the Columbus Fire Department.

NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:

We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Henry A. Harris our sincere condolences

and deepest sympathy. Mr. Harris was an outstanding employee with Columbus

Fire Department and he will be missed by all who knew him.
