WHEREAS, Mr. William J. Colquitt, with the Columbus Police Department, retired
on October 31, 2004;
WHEREAS, Mr. Colquitt has been with the Columbus Police Department since July
1, 1968.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
This Council hereby expresses its appreciation for the diligent and faithful
service of
MR. WILLIAM J. COLQUITT
who has served with the Columbus Police Department for 36 years. We wish for
him happiness and contentment in his retirement.

WHEREAS, Mr. Ellison has been with the Columbus Police Department since January
30, 1975.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
This Council hereby expresses its appreciation for the diligent and faithful

MR. WILLIAM A. ELLISON
who has served with the Columbus Police Department for more than 29 years. We
