Commission and the Planning Division recommend conditional approval.)



(2) 1st Reading ? Rezoning approximately 14.384 acres of property located at

1150, 1156 & 1166 Double Churches Road from an R-1 District to an R-2

District. (22-CA-03-Don Bowles, Inc./Bill Hart, Inc.) (Councilor

McDaniel)(Both the Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Division

recommend conditional approval.)



(3) 2nd Reading ? Rezoning approximately 1.1 acres of property located at 5114

and 5124 Buena Vista Road from a C-3 District to an R-1A District.

(6) 2nd Reading - Providing for the demolition of structures located at 1312

23rd Street (Clarence Biggers, owner); 4766 Kolb Avenue 1 & 2 (Robert Huling,

owner); 1443 22nd Street (Douglas K. McLeod, Sr., owner); 3913 3rd Avenue

(Therman Glean Nichols, owner); 4621 Holly Avenue (Precious Pollard, owner),

and for demolition services for the Inspections and Code Division in accordance

with Tabulation of Bid sheet. (Councilor McDaniel)



(7) 1st Reading - Revising the promotional procedures for the Columbus

Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services for the ranks of Fire Captain

and Fire Lieutenant. (Mayor Poydasheff)

(8) Expressing appreciation to Mrs. Alicia R. House upon her retirement

with the Columbus Police Department/E911 after 13 years of service. (Mayor

(10) Expressing condolences to the family of Mr. Ralph D. Pope, former employee

with the Columbus Fire Department, who passed away on June 22, 2003. (Mayor

(11) Expressing condolences to the family of Mr. James F. Allen, former

employee with the METRA Transportation System, who passed away on July 1,
