NO.





WHEREAS, the Columbus Youth Soccer Association sponsored the Columbus

RedStar Challenge from December 3-5, 2004 in Columbus;

WHEREAS, the event was hosted by the Columbus Futball Club, and RedStar

(an affiliate of Columbus Youth Soccer Association);

WHEREAS, the tournament consisted of 125 teams representing Georgia,

Alabama, Florida and Kentucky, with 15 of those coming from CYSA;

WHEREAS, the Columbus Youth Soccer Association, Columbus Futball Club

and RedStar deserve special recognition from this Council for hosting such an

outstanding event in Columbus.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:

We hereby commend the Columbus Youth Soccer Association, Columbus

Futball Club and RedStar for sponsoring the Columbus RedStar Challenge held at

the Woodruff Farm Soccer Complex from December 3-5, 2004. Let a copy of this

Resolution be forwarded to CYSA President, Judge Maureen Gottfried, and Mr.

Kenneth M. Henson, Jr.

held on the 21st day of December, 2004, and adopted at said meeting by the

affirmative vote of ______ members of said Council.
