A RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, Mrs. Debbie Nixon, First Lady of the 75th Ranger Regiment, was

recently recognized for her service to Ranger families;



WHEREAS, for the past two years, she has introduced groundbreaking training and

support for Ranger Family Readiness Groups;



WHEREAS, Mrs. Nixon has helped to develop and codify leadership training for

young spouses as well as seasoned spouses which has been used by the US Army

Special Operations Command;



WHEREAS, unifying Ranger Wives, Mrs. Nixon adopted the Heart Behind the Shield

emblem as a registered symbol for Ranger families, inspiring Ranger spouses and

families in the continental United States, Korea, Alaska, Europe and Hawaii;



WHEREAS, Mrs. Debbie Nixon?s accomplishments are worthy of special recognition

by this Council.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We hereby commend and congratulate Mrs. Debbie Nixon upon her special

recognition by the Ladies of US Army Rangers assigned to the 75th Ranger

Regiment and we wish her every success in the future. Let a copy of this

Resolution be forwarded to Mrs. Debbie Nixon.
