WHEREAS, Mr. Bobby Murphy, former employee with the Public Services Department,

died on December 23, 2001;

WHEREAS, Mr. Murphy retired on February 28, 2001 after serving over 11 years

with the Public Services Department.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:

We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Bobby Murphy our sincere condolences and

deepest sympathy. Mr. Murphy was an outstanding employee of the Public

Services Department and he will be missed by all who knew him.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on the

19th day of February, 2002, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote
