A RESOLUTION

No.



WHEREAS, Mr. Ralph Jackson, Landfill Division Manager, and Mr. Rufus Riggs,

Director of Public Services and the Public Services Department have dedicated

years to serving the Columbus community and ensuring that citizens live in a

clean and healthy environment;



WHEREAS, Mr. Riggs has managed Special Enforcement, Solid Waste Collection,

Fleet Maintenance and has served as Deputy Director of Integrated Waste

Collection and Disposal for more than 14 years in an efficient manner and is

always respectful of citizens' rights;



WHEREAS, Mr. Jackson has managed the Landfill Division in an efficient manner

and strives to conserve landfill space while treating developers and other

landfill users with dignity and respect;



WHEREAS, the dedicated service of Mr. Jackson and Mr. Riggs to our community is

worthy of special recognition by this Council.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We hereby commend Mr. Ralph Jackson, Landfill Division Manager, and Mr. Rufus

Riggs, Director of Public Services for their years of dedicated service to the

Columbus community and their commitment to ensuring a clean and healthy

environment for our citizens. Let a copy of this resolution be forwarded to

Mr. Ralph Jackson and Mr. Rufus Riggs.
