An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at 2601 Courtland Avenue and property along its southwest property line

from R-1A (Low Density Residential) District to R-2 (Low Density Residential)

District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the

Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby

amended by changing the following described property from R-1A (Low Density

Residential) District to R-2 (Low Density Residential):



Beginning at an iron stake which marks the intersection of the southerly margin

of Forrest Road and the westerly margin of Courtland Avenue and from said point

running thence S 03 degrees 22 minutes 07 seconds E along said westerly margin

of Courtland Avenue a distance of 495.25 feet to an iron stake which marks the

point of beginning; and from said point of beginning continuing thence S 03

degrees 22 minutes 07 seconds E along said westerly margin of Courtland Avenue

a distance of 1,020.34 feet to an iron stake; running thence S 88 degrees 05

minutes 12 seconds W a distance of 1,059.77 feet to an iron stake; running

thence N 03 degrees 15 minutes 44 seconds W a distance of 994.93 feet to an

iron stake: running thence N 86 degrees 42 minutes 46 seconds E a distance of

1,057.58 feet to the iron stake which marks the point of beginning.



And



Beginning at the southwest corner of Land Lot 42 running N 02 degrees 12

minutes W a distance of 1,508.10 feet to an iron stake on the west line of Land

Lot 42; thence running N 88 degrees 00 minutes E a distance of 1,053.0 feet to

an iron stake which is the point of beginning.



From said point of beginning running N 88 degrees 00 minutes E a distance of

454.96 feet to an iron stake; thence running N 03 degrees 16 minutes W a

distance of 739.84 feet to an iron stake; thence running S 88 degrees 22

minutes W a distance of 441.2 feet to an iron stake; thence running S 02

degrees 12 minutes E a distance of 742.50 feet to an iron stake that marks the

point of beginning.
