CALL TO ORDER:

Meeting was called to order by Mark Lupo, Vice Chair. A quorum was present.

The Minutes of the April 21 Meeting were approved.

Case Reviews:

318 11th Street Application was presented by Glenn Griffin for St. Luke United

Methodist Church. The request was to install primary signage at this

location. The Board reviewed and discussed the application. A motion was made

by Brown Nicholson to approve the application as presented. Fred Greene

seconded the motion. The motion passed.

1101 Broadway Application was presented by Dutch Roberts for 11th Street

Lofts. The request was to install an awning over the store front areas of this

building. The applicant amended the request to include covering an additional

entryway/doorway with the awning. The awning will also have the name of the

business printed on it. The Board reviewed and discussed the application. A

motion was made by Brown Nicholson to approve the application as amended. Fred

Greene seconded the motion. The motion passed.

1325 Veterans Parkway Application was presented by Jim Smith for Heritage

Inns. The request was for the continued use of roof top signage. The Board

had approved the use of this type of signage previously due to road

construction on Veterans Parkway. The Board reviewed and discussed the

application. The Board=s discussion focused on the fact that this type of

signage would be excessive for this location. The location already has the

maximum number of primary signage allowed by the Guidelines. A motion was made

by Brown Nicholson to deny the application as presented. Scott Ressmeyer

seconded the motion. The motion passed.

Administration of the Facade Board:

Mark Lupo submitted a letter of resignation as a Board Member. Mr. Lupo is

to serve on the Board.
