Description Have the administration to facilitate a meeting with Uptown

Columbus and the business owners and let?s try to iron out the differences, as

well as include Councilor Woodson in any meetings that might be held. (Request

of Councilor Poydasheff)



Have Uptown Columbus to notify the Council of when those meetings will be held.

When the St. Patrick?s Day event scheduled for March 16, 2002 is over, have

Uptown Columbus to give the Mayor and Council, as well as those business owners

in Uptown Columbus, a full accounting of the dollars of this event. (Request of

Mayor Peters)

Response After the St. Patrick's Day event, the City Manager will call a

meeting with Councilor Woodson and any other councilors that would like to

attend, the Uptown and BID boards, Burnie Quick, and all business owners. A

financial breakout for the St. Patrick's Day event will be discussed as well as

procedures to avoid conflicts and work together to have successful and

uncontested events. As soon as the date is established, it will be publicly

disseminated.
