A RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the 2001-2002 Leadership Columbus class graduated on June 18, 2002;



WHEREAS, Leadership Columbus is a nine-month program designed to provide

Columbus and the surrounding region with trained leaders and volunteers to

guide the community through the 21st Century;



WHEREAS, topics studied by the class participants included leadership, team

building, education, military relations, business, family and community,

quality of life, economic development, public safety, transportation, city

government, health and human services and communication;



WHEREAS, Leadership Columbus is sponsored by the Greater Columbus Chamber of

Commerce and Leadership Columbus Alumni.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We hereby commend the following members of the graduating class of Leadership

Columbus for 2001-2002: Elizabeth Barker, Kimberly Beck, Vanessa Biggers, Randy

Buck, Ralph Callaway, Blair Carnahan, Selina Church, Sheri Cody, Don Cook,
