I. CONSOLIDATED PLAN:
Approval is requested to file the Annual Action Plan and Application for the
Consolidated Plan requesting funding for the Community Development Grant, HOME
Partnership Program and Emergency Shelter Grant Programs. An agenda report and
resolution are attached.
II. MEDICAL CENTER PROPERTY EXCHANGE AND ACQUISITION:
Authorization is requested to accept remnants of Veterans Parkway and 5th
Avenue and declare surplus and dispose of certain street segments (remnants)
that listed on the attached agenda report to the Medical Center. An agenda
report and resolution are attached.
III. FY2004 GaDOT TRANSPORTATION PLANNING CONTRACT:
Authorization is requested to submit an application and receive federal funds
to perform transportation planning activities throughout the Columbus-Phenix
City urban area. An agenda report and resolution are attached.
NOTE: THERE WILL BE A PRE-COUNCIL WORK SESSION AT 8:15 A.M. IN THE COUNCIL
CHAMBER CONFERENCE ROOM TO DISCUSS VARIOUS ISSUES.

IV. ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY:
Authorization is requested to purchase 1.5 +/- acres for a fire station and 6
acres+/- for ball fields located on Veterans Parkway between Williams Road and
Cooper Creek Road from the Muscogee County School District. An agenda report,
map and resolution are attached.
V. TAX MILLAGE GENERAL RULES, PROCEDURES AND REGULATIONS:
Approval is requested of a resolution updating and defining general rules,
procedures, regulations, requirements, and specification of the Tax Millage
Resolution and rescinding Resolution #222-88. An agenda report and resolution
are attached.
VI. PURCHASES:
Approval is requested of items "A" and "B":

Scope of Bid
Provide barricades, traffic cones, drums safety flags and etc. to the Public
Services Department. The items will be purchased on an ?as needed? basis. The
contract term will be for one year, with the option to renew for two additional
twelve-month periods.
