WHEREAS, Mr. Vaughn Hixon, an MEO I with the Columbus Public Services

Department, retired on August 31, 2004;

WHEREAS, Mr. Hixon has been with the Public Services Department since April 17,

1974;

NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



This Council hereby expresses its appreciation for the diligent and faithful

service of

MR. VAUGHN HIXON



who has served with the Columbus Public Services Department for 30 years. We

wish for him happiness and contentment in his retirement.

Department of Fire and EMS, retired on August 31, 2004;

WHEREAS, Mr. Wilson has been with the Department of Fire and EMS since May 16,

1969;

NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
