CONSENT AGENDA



(1) 2nd Reading ? Rezoning property located at 7515 Cooper Creek Road from an

R-1A District to a C-3 District. (46-CA-03-Developers-Investors, Inc.)(Mayor

Pro-Tem Rodgers) (Both the Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning

Division recommend conditional approval.)



(2) 2nd Reading ? Rezoning property located at 6210 Crystal Drive from an R-1A

District to an A-0 District. (47-CA-03-Mordic Builders, Inc.)(Mayor Pro-Tem

Rodgers) (Both the Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Division

recommend conditional approval.)



(3) STREET ACCEPTANCE - STREATOR DRIVE:



Authorization is requested for the acceptance of a deed to Streater Drive

located in Section Three of Mt. Vernon Estates Subdivision. The Department of

Engineering has inspected this street and recommends the acceptance. An agenda

report, map and resolution are attached.

(4) TEMPORARY STREET CLOSURE:



Application of Mr. Milton Hodges to temporarily close Norris Circle

from Carden Drive to Avon Drive on Wednesday, December 31, 2003 from 10:30 p.m.

to 1:00 a.m., (January 1, 2004) for the New Birth Outreach Ministries New Years

celebration.



(5) RESOLUTION



Excusing Councilor Mimi Woodson from the December 16, 2003 Council

Meeting.



(6) RESOLUTION



Condolences and deepest sympathy to the family of Janice Bland Dickens,

Chairperson of the Muscogee County Board of Elections and Registration who

passed away November 20, 2003.

Scope of Bid

Provide approximately 25 gasoline powered edgers, 158 gasoline powered line

trimmer, 26 mowers, high wheel push, 20 blower, back pack, gasoline, 22 chain

saws 3.0 cubic inch/50cc, 12 chain saws 3.2 cubic inch/53cc and 2 mowers,

rotary/self-propelled on an ?as needed? basis to Columbus Consolidated

Government (the City) to be utilized by various City Departments. The contract

term will be for one year, with the option to renew for two additional

twelve-month periods.



2. Asphalt Rubber & Sealant (Annual Contract) ? Bid No. 04-0043

Scope of Bid

Provide material for sealing cracks when repairing streets, parking

lots and highway on an ?as needed? basis to the Columbus Consolidated

Government (the City) to be utilized by Public Services Department. The

contract term will be for one year, with the option to renew for two additional

twelve-month periods.

1. Commercial Zero-Turn Radius Mowers ? RFP No. 04-0013

Scope of RFP

The Columbus Consolidated Government (the City) desires to select a qualified

vendor to provide three (3) Commercial Zero-Turn-Radius Mowers. The mowers

will be used by the Park Services Division of the Parks and Recreation

Department.
