I. AGREEMENT WITH GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION ? RAIL LINE ACQUISITION:
Authorization is requested to enter into an agreement with the Georgia
Department of Transportation for the purchase of an abandoned rail line located
between 7th and 12th Street behind the Trade Center for the expansion project.
An agenda report and resolution are included.
II. GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS ? GRANT:
Authorization is requested to accept a grant from the Georgia
Department of Community Affairs- Governor?s Emergency Fund in the amount of
$20,000 to assist Columbus Alliance for Regional Investment with the Business
One Stop Shop and amend the Multi-Governmental Fund by like amount. An agenda
report and resolution are included.
III. ACCEPTANCE OF STREET ? PERDUE LANE:
Authorization is requested to accept the deed to Perdue Lane located in
Section Fifteen, Sweetwater Village. The Department of Engineering has
inspected this street and recommends the acceptance. An agenda report, map and
resolution are included.
IV. ACCEPTANCE OF STREET ? BUNKER RIDGE LANE:
Authorization is requested to accept the deed to Bunker Ridge Lane
located in Section Four, Bunker Ridge Subdivision. The Department of
Engineering has inspected this street and recommends the acceptance. An agenda
report, map and resolution are included.

GROUND FLOOR CONFERENCE ROOM.

Scope of RFP
Provide Columbus Consolidated Government with commercial property,
crime and liability insurance. The contract shall be for two years with the
option to renew for three additional twelve-month periods. Contract renewal
will be contingent upon the mutual agreement of the City and the Contractor.

Scope of Bid
Provide construction services for Fire Station No. 7. The two-bay fire station
will be located at Buena Vista Road and Thyre Avenue at Belvedere Drive.
