WHEREAS, Mr. Fred D. McCollum, former employee with the Property Appraisers

Department, died on April 13, 2005;

WHEREAS, Mr. McCollum retired on October 31, 1995 after serving 16 years with

the Property Appraisers Department.



NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Fred D. McCollum our sincere condolences

and deepest sympathy. Mr. McCollum was an outstanding employee with the

Property Appraisers Department and he will be missed by all who knew him.

WHEREAS, Mrs. Jewel M. Peters, former employee with the Columbus Police

Department, died on April 19, 2005;

WHEREAS, Mrs. Peters retired on August 31, 1978 after serving over 12 years

with the Columbus Police Department.



NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We hereby convey to the family of Mrs. Jewel M. Peters our sincere condolences

and deepest sympathy. Mrs. Peters was an outstanding employee with the

Columbus Police Department and she will be missed by all who knew her.
