A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A MEMORANDUM OF

UNDERSTANDING WITH GEORGIA POWER.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a Memorandum of

Understanding with Georgia Power that outlines a plan to help preserve, protect

and develop a safe and healthy urban forest in the community.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia, held
