Please see the attached information that was requested from the Council Budget
Review Committee regarding comparing Richmond County/Augusta General Fund
Budget. The information contained in this report was provided by David
Persaud, Finance Director for Richmond County/Augusta Consolidated Government.
City Staff provided Richmond County with a spread sheet for Columbus' FY05
Budget for each department funded by the General Fund. Richmond County Staff
provided corresponding budget numbers for Richmond County/Augusta. As
described in the spread sheet Richmond/Augusta's budget totals to cover
corresponding budgets for Columbus General Fund Budget is $131,200,000.
