To follow up on our conversation last week, Leadership Columbus Government

Day is November 18. Please extend an invitation to the entire City Council

to join our group. The tentative schedule is very similar to last year. We

will have breakfast in the Government Center Ground Floor Conference Room at

7:45 a.m. We have again invited the Mayor, City Manager and Asst. City

Managers to join us too. We will give each official time to briefly address

the group and then as a group the officials will take questions. We will

end the meeting in time for the officials to go upstairs for council

meeting.



That afternoon beginning at 1:30 p.m. we plan to use the Council Chamber to

hold a mock City Council Meeting. I plan to work with the City Mangers to

use this opportunity as a trial run for actual issues the Council will be

addressing. The mock Council should be completed by 4:00 p.m. We will

likely stick around in the Council Chamber for another 30 minutes to hear

from Judge Cohn or other speakers.



I will send you a more detailed schedule within the next week or two. In

the meantime, please ask everyone to hold November 18th for our group.
