An ordinance authorizing the administration of the Columbus excise tax on

rooms, lodgings and accommodations (hotel-motel tax) pursuant to O.C.G.A.

Section 48-13-51(a)(4.2).

THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY ORDAINS:



SECTION 1.



Columbus Code Section 19-111 is hereby amended by adding the

following sentence:



?The tax imposed by this article shall be administered pursuant to

O.C.G.A. Section 48-13-51(a)(4.2), as now or hereafter amended.?





SECTION 2.



All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are

hereby repealed.
