MERITORIOUS RESOLUTIONS:
Have the staff to prepare a resolution for State Representative Tom Buck
thanking him for his years of service. (Request of Councilor McDaniel)Also,
have the resolution framed. (Request of Councilor Turner Pugh)

STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS:
Have the staff to prepare a resolution honoring those athletes who have
won State Championships and runner-ups and set aside next month?s night meeting
to honor those individuals; Kadjah Talley of Columbus High School, Brookstone
School and Carver High School.

TEACHER OF THE YEAR:
Have the staff to prepare a resolution congratulating the Teacher of the
Year and all those teachers who were nominated from each of the Muscogee County
schools and present them at next month?s night meeting. (Request of Councilor

DEATH OF ALAN ROTHSCHILD, SR.:
Have the staff to prepare a resolution expressing the Council?s
condolences to the family of Mr. Alan Rothschild, Sr. (Request of Councilor

REGIONAL GOLF TOURNAMENT:
Have the staff to prepare a resolution congratulating Councilor McDaniel?s
grandson who won a medal in the recent Regional Golf Tournament. (Request of

Have the staff to do some research and determine whether or not it is
possible to prevent any home from being sold that is under the demolition

ENTERPRISE ZONE:
Have the staff to schedule the Development Authority to come before the
Council at a Work Session and provide an update of the businesses that have
located in the Enterprise Zone, as well as Muscogee Technology Park. (Request
of Councilor Woodson)

GALLOPS SENIOR CENTER:
Have the staff to provide a status report on the concern that she brought
to the attention of the Administration as it relates to transferring of
employees at the Gallops Senior Center. (Request of Councilor Woodson)

FLAT ROCK PARK:
Have the staff to look at some concerns that have been brought forth as it
relates to four wheeler vehicles and 4 x 4 trucks that are driving through Flat
Rock Park. Also, let?s look at locking the gate to the entrance of the park at
night. (Request of Councilor Allen)
Have the staff to determine if the City has any liability as it relates to
those who slide on the rocks at Flat Rock Park. Also, have the staff to
consider putting up some signs about sliding on the rocks in the park. (Request
