MINUTES # 24-03



The Columbus, Georgia, Board of Tax Assessors met Wednesday, June 18, 2003, at

2:00PM with Assessors Richard Stallings, William Braxton and Pat Hunter

present. Also present was Chief Appraiser Martin J. Land. Assessors Lawton

Grantham and Ann Grantham were absent.



Assessor William Braxton made a motion to approve Minutes # 23-03, Assessor Pat

Hunter second the motion, motion carried unanimously.



Chief Appraiser Martin Land advised the Board that another Personal Property

account existed at the same location as ?Extreme Kar Kustoms?. Assessor Richard

Stallings made a motion to remove the assessment for account # 05951701 for the

years 2000, 2001 and 2002, Assessor Pat Hunter seconded the motion; motion

carried.



Met with Commercial Division Chief Linda King, reviewed and approved the

following:



2003 Map Splits: 1

Permits: 105



The Board approved a request for non-taxability for Parcel ID 042 007 018 for

2003, which was field reviewed by the Commercial Division.



Met with Personal Property Division Chief Oliver Juhan, reviewed and approved

the following:



Freeport Applications: 1 (Disapproved)

Assessment Corrections: 5(-)
