A RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the South Georgia Waves baseball team has expressed an interest in

leasing Golden Park for the 2003 baseball season;



WHEREAS, discussions with Columbus have led to the drafting of a lease

agreement for the 2003 season between Columbus and Main Street Baseball LLC;



WHEREAS, this Council deems it appropriate to authorize the City Manager to

enter a lease agreement with Main Street Baseball LLC for the 2003 baseball

season.



NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:



We hereby authorize the City Manager to enter into a lease agreement with Main

Street Baseball LLC for the lease of Golden Park for the 2003 baseball season.

25th day of March, 2003, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of
