AN ORDINANCE REGULATING VEHICULAR TRAFFIC IN COLUMBUS, GEORGIA BY DELETING FROM
THE ?OFFICIAL STREET MAP, CITY OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA? THE UNOPENED PORTION OF
THE STREET SEGMENT AND RIGHTS-OF-WAY OF DORIS DRIVE BEGINNING AT THE WEST
RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF GARFIELD DRIVE AND EXTENDING EAST APPROXIMATELY 490 FEET
AND A PORTION OF THE STREET SEGMENT AND RIGHTS-OF-WAY OF MAURICE DRIVE
BEGINNING AT THE NORTHERN RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF DORIS DRIVE AND EXTENDING NORTH
AN APPROXIMATE DISTANCE OF 165 FEET.

THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I.
The ?Official Street Map, City of Columbus, Georgia? is hereby amended by
deleting the following street segment and rights-of-way:
A portion of Doris Drive beginning at the west right of way line of Garfield
Drive and extending east approximately 490 feet, shown as parcel ?A? on the
attached drawing.
SECTION II.
The ?Official Street Map, City of Columbus, Georgia? is hereby amended by
deleting the following street segment and rights-of-way:
A portion of Maurice Drive beginning at the northern right of way line of Doris
Drive and extending north an approximate distance of 165 feet, shown as parcel
?B? on the attached drawing.
SECTION III.
The street segments and rights-of-way described in Section I and
Section II are hereby declared surplus property for disposal in accordance with
the Columbus Code and no longer needed for roadway purposes.
SECTION IV.
Providing that all existing utility easements of record remain in effect and
providing appropriate width as required by applicable utility companies shall
be reserved for unknown utilities.
SECTION VI
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are
hereby repealed.
Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on the

meeting of said Council held on the ____ day of ____, 2004 and adopted at said
