The terms of office of Dr. Emma Hunter, Mr. Seth Harp, Ms. Ola Mae

Washington and Col. Willie Davis on the Hospital Authority will expire on

November 14, 2002. Dr. Hunter, Mr. Harp and Col. Davis are eligible to succeed

themselves.



Ms. Washington cannot succeed herself as she has already served two

consecutive full terms of office.



The Council nominates three individuals for each vacancy and the

Authority itself, will then select its members from the list of nominees.



There are currently three (3) members who reside in Senatorial District 15

and eight (8) members who reside in Senatorial District 16 representatives.



There are five (5) women currently serving on this board.



Enclosed is a copy of our data sheet, as well as a list of the current

members.

Charge/Mission

This board is responsible for the operation of Muscogee Manor and Highland

House nursing homes. It has eleven members. The Columbus Council makes three

nomination for each vacancy. The authority itself actually fills the vacancies
