MINUTES # 38-04



The Columbus, Georgia, Board of Tax Assessors met Wednesday, September 29,

2004, at 2:00PM with Chairman Lawton Grantham, Assessors Richard Stallings, Ann

Grantham, William Braxton and Pat Hunter present. Also present was Chief

Appraiser Martin J. Land.



Assessor Richard Stallings made a motion to approve Minutes # 37-04, Assessor

Pat Hunter seconded the motion, motion carried unanimously.



The Board approved assessment corrections for real estate.



Chief Appraiser Martin Land presented assessment corrections for the Personal

Property Division, which were reviewed and approved as follows:



Assessment Corrections: 2(+)

7(-)

Appeals: 2(-)



Met with Commercial Division Chief Linda King, who presented the results of

field reviews for parcel ID 049 009 021, 049 010 010X, 049 010 007 and 041 024

002. The Board approved tax exempt status for parcel ID 049 009 021, 049 010

10X for 2003 and for parcel ID 041 024 002 for 2004; however, delayed the

decision for parcel ID 049 010 007 requesting additional information
